Personalized support

Our support offers practical mental performance coaching to guide athletes, parents, and coaches who want support that actually fits real life.

Don’t make the journey alone. Let us be your guides.

This support is for:

  • Athletes who feel pressure, doubt, or burnout
  • Parents who want to help but aren’t sure how
  • Coaches who care deeply and want to support better

You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a place to start.

Every person is different, but common areas include:

We don’t force a plan. We meet you where you are and build from there.

We don’t work in isolation. When it’s helpful, we support, athletes directly, parents alongside their child, coaches within their role. Our goal is to help the whole system support growth, not put all the pressure on one person.

People often leave sessions with:

  • Clearer language for what they’re feeling
  • Tools they can use in sport and daily life
  • More confidence and composure in tough moments
  • Better conversations at home or in sport settings
  • A sense of direction, instead of feeling like
    they’re guessing

One on one sessions are collaborative, not scripted. Practical, not theoretical. Supportive, not judgmental.

We talk. We reflect. We practise tools you can actually use.

This isn’t about “fixing” anyone. It’s about building skills, awareness, and perspective over time.

Progress doesn’t come from one session. But a plan can.

Hear from people we’ve already helped.

  • “I like speaking with someone that has the tools to help me grow to be a better person, be mentally stronger, and that has been able to find my weaknesses and make me view the world a little differently.”
  • “I think the work we did surrounding communication, self-esteem vs self-efficacy, and mindfulness and acceptance helped me the most to overcome the barriers imposed by my anxiety and move to a better place in my training.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a human? Yes? Then we support you. 🙂

We support all the people around athletes, like parents (caregivers), coaches, orgs, etc., sometimes separately and sometimes together.

It depends! A few things we do: we teach the child how to communicate with their caregivers, what they are learning, and why. For younger children, we often invite the caregivers on at the end of the call to debrief all together. Ultimately, we’ll decide what best supports the athlete and maintains trust and privacy.

The short answer is yes. The long answer has some fine print in accordance with the law. We’ll explain confidentiality and its limits clearly at the start, especially when working with youth.

Our practitioners follow ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines aligned with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. We’ll always explain limits of confidentiality clearly and respectfully.

Referrals aren’t needed! You can book directly. However, we would love to know how you found us.

Sometimes. Many plans don’t cover mental skills training, but some clients have successfully submitted receipts, depending on the provider and plan. We’ll talk through options on the call.

If you want to join our fight to get CMPC sessions covered, please ask us how you can do your part!

Congratulations! Take a moment to acknowledge that you’ve just taken a step toward bettering yourself. Make sure you have a private, quiet place to take the call, a good internet connection, a camera and earphones (a phone works, but a laptop or desktop is best), Zoom up to date, and an open mind.

Imagine a micro-session where we’ll ask: what’s going on, why you are seeking support, what you’ve tried, and what you want to change. The second half of the call will be us explaining to you (and your caregivers) how this all works. You’ll leave with clear next steps, even if you do not book sessions.

Sessions are done over Zoom. Each practitioner delivers their support from a private professional place, designed for one-on-one support.

Sessions are 50 minutes. In rare cases, they may run slightly longer, depending on needs. Additional charges may apply and are at the provider’s discretion.

Many clients start weekly, then move to every two to four weeks once things feel more stable.

Some clients go with 1 pack and feel they’ve made enough progress or addressed their challenges. Many clients stick around for months or years, seeing the long-term approach to having support.

Of course. How will we get better without practice? It can look like short reflections, journaling prompts, or practices in the week between sessions, etc.

We use tools like Padlet (a virtual whiteboard) with many features, along with other activities and games, to keep things experiential and fun.

It’s normal to question fit. Support is very personal, and there are many different approaches and personalities. If it’s not a 100% yes, then we can try another provider, no questions asked. If there is something else you need that we cannot provide, we will recommend a path, even if it is not with us.
