Team
workshops

Focused learning experiences that help teams build mental skills together.

Team workshops create space for athletes, coaches, and sometimes parents to reflect and learn together. They introduce practical mental tools that teams can apply immediately in sport and everyday life.

Let us show you how to set yourself up for success.

Team workshops can support:

• Youth sport teams
• Clubs and sports organizations
• Coaches and staff groups
• Parent groups connected to a team or club

Workshops work best for teams that want to be intentional about the culture they’re building.

Workshops can explore topics like:

• Confidence and self-belief
• Performing under pressure
• Team dynamics and culture
• Focus and resetting in training and competition
• Communication within a team

Each workshop is tailored to the age group, level of play, and team context.

The goal is always the same. Help people leave with language, tools, and perspective they can actually use.

Many workshops talk about mental skills. Our workshops help teams practise them.

We run experiential activities. Athletes try the tools together. They discuss how these ideas show up in practices, games, and conversations with teammates, coaches, and parents.

Teams often leave workshops with:

• A shared language around mental tools and skills
• Practical tools athletes can apply immediately
• Better conversations between athletes and coaches
• A stronger sense of team culture and connection
• Greater awareness of the mental side of sport

Workshops can take place in different environments depending on the needs of the team.

• Classroom sessions for reflection, discussion, and learning together
• Practice integrated sessions where mental skills are explored during training
• Pre or post competition sessions to prepare or reflect before or after important events
• Parent and coach sessions that support the adults shaping the environment

How it starts

01

Reach out.

We begin with a conversation about your team, age group, and what you’re hoping to support.

02

Pick a path.

Together, we choose how many sessions you want and schedule them into your season.

03

Deliver the sessions.

Workshops can be delivered in person or online, depending on your location and needs.

How it works

01

Group intake

The first session includes guided questions that help us learn directly from the athletes. It also builds trust and sets the tone for the rest of the work.

02

Organized delivery

Workshops combine discussion, reflection, and experiential exercises that help athletes experience mental tools and skills in action.

03

Integrated action

Teams leave with homework for them to apply in practice and game play.

Starts at $375 per session for a six-workshop package.

Frequently asked questions

Amazing. The first step is a short call where you tell us about your team, age group, season, and what’s been coming up lately. We’ll help you figure out what makes most sense.

Think active involvement, not lecture. Athletes and coaches take part in discussions and activities that help them live the experience and directly connect it to what’s happening in their sport. We read, write, watch, talk, and use our virtual whiteboard called Padlet.

Most workshops run 60 to 90 minutes. We’ll recommend a length that fits your group’s attention span and schedule.

We like to have workshops take place before a regularly scheduled practice. That way, all the participants are as fresh as they can be, and we can apply the learnings directly into practice afterward.

A strong yes. We want coaches not only to be present but also to participate. Part of any leadership model is to model behaviours and attitudes. A coach who’s engaged will lead to better mental buy-in and, in turn, better outcomes. Moreover, when coaches use the same language and tools, the impact lasts much longer.

We see the best results from ongoing support scheduled every 2-6 weeks throughout the season. Some teams want a single touchpoint. Others choose a short series to reinforce learning over the season. Our impact comes from the repeated touchpoints with the teams.

This depends on the team. We truly customize the workshop plan for each team we work with. Common themes include confidence, pressure, focus, communication, leadership, and bouncing back after mistakes. We tailor everything to your context.

We gather information from a few sources before choosing what we think is best to do. First, we talk to the coaches to see what the team’s strengths, weaknesses and goals are, then we speak to the athletes directly during our first (intake) session, where they speak to the same questions and more. With that, we come up with a plan for the season.

They’ll practice them. We design workshops so athletes can try tools in the moment, not just hear or think about them in theory. Application is one of our core tenets. There’s no point in learning something if you can’t use it right away. Learning how to apply ideas is a skill in itself.

Almost always! It depends on how you define help. Will they become more aligned, connected, cohesive, and trusting? Absolutely. Shared language and understanding help manage conflict and build trust. Their true values will come out of the wash as well.

Yes, though in person usually creates stronger energy and connection. We’ll talk through what’s best for your group and who’s available in your area.

We give homework! How would we get better without practice? Additionally, as an add-on, we can have the practitioners stick around for practice to support the team, just like any NSO or PSO would have them do, or we can also create worksheets and other content.

Pricing is based on the number of users, delivery timeframe, and level of support. Optional add-ons are available for organizations that want deeper or more customized support, like added weeks, added themes (taper and competitions), colour books, and more individualized support.
